Speech & Language Therapy for Adults with Neurological Conditions & Voice Disorders

Rachel Woodcock

BSc (Hons) MRCSLT MASLTIP HCPCreg

Since qualifying as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2003, I have worked both within the NHS and private sector. My role is to enable adults to communicate to the best of their ability, through goal focused and person-centred episodes of care.

I am passionate about my work and enjoy working jointly with clients and their families. My clinical knowledge and specialist skills enable me to treat adults with swallowing difficulties (dysphagia), dysarthria, aphasia and/or apraxia of speech. These communication and swallowing difficulties may arise from Stroke, Parkinson’s Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Traumatic Brain Injury or other neurological conditions.

Sessions are personalised, goal focused and tailored to suit individual needs.
